The RMIT Redbacks will host North Brunswick AFC at Bundoora Oval this Saturday.
With the AFL’s annual Dreamtime Round taking place this weekend, both RMIT sides will warm up in student-designed Indigenous uniform on Saturday in conjunction with the University’s reconciliation program via the Ngarara Willim Centre.
Three new players will make their RMIT debut’s in the reserves side from 10am. Rebecca McConnell (midfield), Lilly Paterson and Michelle Todorov (interchange) join the Redbacks while Taylor Wiri and Kiara Pisano (both half-back line) will return to the field. Brooke McKaig has overcome a rib injury sustained in the second quarter of last week’s clash with Mazenod to take her place in the back pocket.
The seniors will take to the field at 12pm, having regained Thomay Nicolaou in the engine room after the vice-captain completed her recovery from a leg injury. Round 6 debutants Beth Scutt and Elin Averius have held their places in the ruck and half-back flank respectively.
